Subject: 1770 vac motor plumbing? 2 fans in series?

Callao Missouri
I was reading old threads about hooking the two vac motors together to run off one outlet. I plumbed the pressure line going to left motor, the return from left goes to the right motor, then returned to sump via the low pressure drain hose on 7140.
After running in the driveway for an our the left motor started gushing oil.

So my question is, Is the motor just a junk motor or are you not able to plumb those in series?

Also what vacuum pressure should you be reading on the gauges with the white E set disk's? I had it running at 15" or so with the seed disks charged. How low can you go on the E sets? Thanks

Also what is the jumper tube bypass on top for?
