S-C Manitoba, Canada | Walker combines are horrible for oat losses compared to a rotor. There is just so much material and with oats being so light it will just walk them out the back. Probably the worst crop to use a conventional on, unless the straw will go to your own cows. I hate to start a brand war but new holland CR's or lexions shine in oats if you are open to that, the more rotor separation area the better if you care about losses | |
