From the panel to the power source that would require 4 ga. Copper. And make sure you have the generator itself earth grounded according to its instructions!
Sounds right, maybe #6 copper. But so darn few generators are grounded. Make sure. Even if just booster cables from ground to two pipes pounded in ground, pour gallon of water on/in each
