| Yes Ben when it greens up in spring May/June time frame. It's Greasewoods, we like to calve in them for protection from storms. High in protein, goats can also do great on them. It's toxic all the books say. However cattle will develop a taste to it and moderate their intake with cheat grass. It's got a tough spine that will puncture your 4 wheeler tires also pickup tires. We fill new ATV tires with sealant before use. Just don't have much problem riding in them. However, you do try to pick your path though them.
Anytime we have a fire to take them out try to get it reseeded into wheat grasses. | |
