I can't tell you for sure if the gooseneck version is or not but I have the bumper hitch version and have a Midsota tilt deck trailer and without it, it will just about shake you out of the 3/4 Duramax on some roads, with it inflated properly makes it decent, I have a 12v Milwaukee air compressor I carry with so that I can always adjust the air bag and it rides very good, having too much or not enough air is almost as bad as without. If I could get one for a RV hitch I would, but as far as I know only for a gooseneck hitch at this time and definitely not changing camper to that style as that would be a step backwards.
Get a Reese goose box for your RV, it's incredible how smooth it pulls.
To the op, shocker hitch is so so, when accelerating and braking, it doesn't do anything as the movement is maxed out either way. If adjusted to the correct psi it can help with some bumps. |
