| With durum that's my main concern. I have some storage but not a lot. i also don't know what the cost to dry it would be. I have my own setup. But the cost of durum on the NDSU budget sheet doesn't include drying. but sitting on it for a year doesnt sound fun. but i also heard though the years that if you keep a little on hand, and wait for the time to be right itll pay well. idk if thats true either.
Most of the land that i had planned on going into mustard is going into its 3rd year without canola. I did have 2 qtrs of canola this year...and its splitting them into wheat and beans...try to off the volunteer canola that i know will show its face.
was the buckwheat buyer that place out of grand forks? I haven't heard horror stories of the crop or the buyer yet...so that's also why im unsure on what to do with it.
Ive heard that a planter can save 30 an acre....but in order to hire it done its also 20 an acre and its on their time schedule. lol i don't think that pencils very good either. | |
