I think I could make a 7810 run indefinitely. Eventually the dash will be unrepairable, but that's not needed to make it run and mechanical gauges can be added. Engine just has an inline bosch pump with electric shutoff, so any computer to there can be bypassed. Transmission is controlled by electric valves, but I can program a PLC and they're only about $200, I think somebody is already doing this for some old case 4x4s. 3 pt hitch would also need to be run by that plc. Be a bit of a project but I think all jd electronics could be removed.
