Sw mn | Yes we had both Northern and Western. Both are getting worse. Seeing numbers increase the last 5-6 years. Going to start planting traited corn next year. We have been 80%+ conventional corn for about 15-20 years but have used in furrow insecticide. The past two seasons there was to much rain early and we washed out the insecticide so it didn't work as good as it had in the past.
In scouting some of our larger fields that are having problems we were seeing 1-3 beetles per plant. And there are both Northern and Western. | |
