I’ve had a 2014 608c since new. We used the chopping part a lot the first few years. Haven’t put them in gear for several years now. The only issue I’ve run across is once in a while one of the blades will get under the stalk rolls and plug one row. Turn it out of the way and it usually stays put. If you run a variable speed feeder house, change the oil every year.
