Marketing genius / mechanical failure. Very few around here, I've never met someone that has owned one for a while that is happy. Butler had a few low houred used ones to get rid of and they shipped them to Indiana to auction off on Big Iron because they thought Indiana had the best market penetration. They still only brought 140k for 400 separator hour machines. Talk to a Butler combine tech and they'll tell you you're better off in a Claas or a Gleaner. Maybe that will change and they'll be able to work the bugs out but combines are complicated machines... that's why you hardly ever see complete redesigns vs. slow incremental changes to a proven design.
