| Keep track of insurance costs closely is great advice for everyone . In ‘93 I bought a second vehicle just prior to getting married, for her to drive . When I went to see about insurance they asked would you like to insure your truck as well ? I said I’m already insured with your company . “ didn’t you get the letter “ “ they dropped you because you were late on as payment “ I said I was going to trade school and I wouldn’t have been late if the insurance wasn’t so expensive ! “ well it wouldn’t be if you hadn’t had two accidents “ I said was in an accident in 87 . They looked it up and had me down as in a second accident in 89 . Apparently the other guy had two years to file his final claim, when he did they charged me for a second accident, with the same guy , same vehicle and location !!! I told them that I hadn’t even owned that vehicle in 89 ! I said so are you going to issue me a refund for overcharging the last 3 years or maybe a credit? “ no , that’s not how insurance works , you have to monitor his much you are charged “ !!!
I went across the street and got a quote for $5 more than the original company’s revised price . So I went back to the original company and told them I was happy to pay their competitors $5 more and hopefully get better service ! | |
