The reel motors I see have a small sprocket on the motor and a larger sprocket on the reel so they are all slowing the speed of the reel down over what the hydraulic motor is spinning. We have similar size hydraulic motors on 6 inch and 8 inch seed augers in trucks and have been used for 40 years.
Would header reel drive motor work on grain auger?
