They have be come a necessary evil for many of us.  There are going to be people here who are content driving 20+ year old trucks that are noisy, loud, dirty, and crude compared to today's trucks (which is fine....I have one of each) but regardless of age they are driving money pits!




I agree with that.  And it don't seem to matter much either what you buy.  I could drop $40,000 for a supposedly nice pre emission truck or half that for a much newer truck and breakdowns seem to be the same.  So lately we've been just buying newer trucks because at least they are nicer to drive.
