I'm a little biased here but there's not much to be scared of with a decently maintained 8000 series deere. They are built well. If the maintenance was kept up there's no reason these aren't 15000hr tractors. My 8400 has over 11k on it and it runs really well yet. The electronics on it haven't given hardly any trouble, the hydraulic capacity is leaps and bounds better then a 4430. Only problem is your about 5 years to late if your wanted a decent priced low hr one. What exactly are you planning on running that would require a pto pump? Planter?
