Another thought. Is the quick attach feeder plate tipped back a good way, so the snap rolls run parallel to the ground, and they feed back on a fairly flat surface under the auger and into the chain or does the head run tipped ahead and nose pointing downward quite a bit and the cobs have to flow uphill into the feeder chain??
