| From our experience I don't think you'd be disappointed in a Gerringhof corn head. We ran CIH corn heads most of my life. Traded a 1 yr old 4412, less than 2,500 ac, for a Gerringhof Northstar Elite in 2015. Best thing we ever did. Have ran a Patriot for 3 years now. Probably biggest downfall with the Northstar is down corn. We haven't had down corn since we got the Patriot but they are supposed to be improved in that area. Don't see many red combines with CIH corn heads in our area, mostly Gerringhof. | |
