Sounds like it’s backfeeding at the feeder house. Drum set too low or chain too far from the auger. We ran a 1083 on a 2366 for 3 years in 200+ corn @ 3.5- 4 mph then 5 years on a 2388 @ 4+ & never had any back feeding issues
