rochester IN | We bought a 8-30 North Star in 2010 slightly used. Have replaced chains one time and knifes one time. Parts are expensive but last a long time. I think it shells worse than our red heads did. But I guess look the other way just because of the reliability we just never work on it in season I would say I can count on one hand the times I have had a snout up in the field. I don’t believe it is as aggressive as say a 1000 series in down corn. | |
