I have no confidence in them. I know 2 different guys that do body and paint work. They both work on stuff for cash, side stepping insurance companies. One of them sometimes buys newer wrecks and rebuilds them using mixed parts from various vehicles using whichever serial number works out the best. Carfax only knows what's reported.
Confidence in Carfax??
