Just like everything else, as long as you can find parts to fix the equipment and if you maintain it correctly and don’t abuse it, equipment will last a very long time. I know some guys who trade every couple of years and are always fixing stuff, some guys run older stuff and don’t seem to fix as much but also probably pay closer attention to maintenance, usually it comes down to the operator and how he cares and operates his equipment. Personally I would take any jd row crop tractor starting with a 4020 through the 8030 series tractors.
