well.... i'd say at least Corteva has something figured out on the peking beans. thats not to say stine hasn't too. i have somehow planted more stine beans in total but more corteva peking beans than stine pekings. 

in 2023 i had 3 peking beans and probably 5 non peking, and my top 2 beans were peking. non of which got planted on a bean on bean farm. 

that has made me look into cyst numbers more and think about this. 



but yes, the old addage was peking helped where needed but had a yield drag where not needed...
