Subject: RE: Dealing with stress

Pittsburg, Kansas
Back when I was actively farming in the winter I would like to go to the YMCA and play raquetball for an hour or two.

I tend to be pretty competetive by nature so playing against other guys I would totally lose thought of anything except for the game. I would become immersed in it. This allowed any worry about anything else get a rest while I was playing. Plus just the intense exercise was beneficial.

Find some activity you can become immersed in. Doesn't have to be lengthy. Just something to get your mind in a completely different state. If you are married something you can do with your wife as a couple even better (she may also be feeling your stress even if she does not show it). Like square dancing??? Roller skating???

Something totally different to do to take your mind off the daily grind.
