Subject: 1083 Cih corn head losing cobs

Ripley, Ontario Canada
I have a 1083 head on a 2388 and it has reminded me why I have little love for red heads. Am running in about 140 bushel corn at 19% and if I go much over 4 mph it throws a lot of cobs out in the middle almost as if it just can’t handle that much corn. I have already put an extra shield in the middle to hold cobs in but really if I was in 200 B corn I think I would be doing 2 mph or overloading the head. What can be adjusted on these heads or do I just get another green one
