I was 39 and 11 months old when we adopted our infant son. Wife was about a year and a half behind me. So there we were later fortyish with an infant. We got a lot of comments about our "grandchild".

Only good thing about it is that when I wanted to start farming it took a LOOOOONG time before my Dad decided to retire. My son didn't have to wait so long. showboat
