Eastern Shore of MD
RR1 grower here also. We are mostly notill to min till unless we have an identified slug problem on a particular field.

We go out early with Sharpen to get marestail. Generally effective but do not skimp on required adjuvants. Also need to read label for planting restrictions, especially if tank mixing another group 14. We usually do not fall spray as this is a big cover crop area so first pass in early spring is to kill cover crop and get marestail. I have found liberty to be ineffective this early in the year.

Also run 1st residual with Sharpen, usually an Authority product plus metribuzin with Gly.
2nd pass pre-emerge - clean up any escapes with Paraquat and may layer in 2nd residual.
3rd pass - early post - generally an Anthem product with Gly and a helper for broadleaves - like resource or classic.

Common ragweed much more difficult to control pre and post and as mentioned Prefix might be the answer here....not really sure as were we have ragweed issues we plant E3 beans.
