I don't ever remembering my Dad ridiculing or making fun of me, that's not how he is...he has a sense of humor, but he just never did that...

Now, that's not to say he never thought anything me or my Brother did was stupid, he just didn't make fun. As long as it wasn't costing him a bunch of money, he let us try our way most of the time and if it worked, fine...if not, we learned. If he knew a better way, he would tell you...sometimes force you to do it his way...but as I got older, if my way was better, every once in a while I'd see him try my way instead.

He taught us to be our own person, and know what we do and how to do it. He maybe isn't always the most patient man, and neither am I in some cases, but you never though he thought anything but the world of you...even when he might have said something that indicated otherwise...5 minutes later, it never happened.

He's slowing down now, hard to see somedays when he's putting better than 1000 miles a week on his truck, but it's happening. I'll sure miss him someday when he's not here to ask me why I'm doing it that way, or what this part fits.
I know we're lucky to have him still!!

Chris
