Thought of you a week or so ago when I saw Pilot Mountain on our travels. Got home yesterday. Western NC, western VA, WV, and into SE OH were all very dry. Notill corn and double-crop beans were all in very bad condition. Pastures turning brown. Highway median was brown. Our own yard is brown. We got 0.66" while we were away, but that's gone.
