Donnellson, IA. Makes saying here easier. | I am taking that approach with my rain machine. Partly because I am organic and want all my weed control done before I water foxtail with manure. But also because I think letting it root down some is a good idea as well. Nice thing is you can run the manure at very small amounts rate wise and just add a little each pass. Or run a heavier shot early. Lots of options and no clue what is the best scenario. Time and multiple seasons will tell that tale.
I put down part of my manure last fall. Will do some in each pass when I start up here shortly. Corn is v5 now and looks great as we haven’t had lack of moisture. |
