That burning on the cotyledon looks like sulfentrazone damage (from the Sonic) to me. The leaf cupping could be a couple different things. But at least some of the damage is from the Sonic. Was the Sonic applied at planting? It's a good product, but IMO it needs to be applied a couple weeks before planting to minimize risk of crop damage.
What caused this soybean chemical damage ?
