Manola,Ab, Ca | First in canola the chaff will “float”to the top and look worse than it is. The chaff is light so it takes a lot to make a big dockage.
If you want it cleaner I would probably tighten the sieves and increase the fan speed. What sieve do you have? Small grain or the deep finger corn style?
Sometimes you have to accept a dirty sample to limit losses. Are you straight cutting or swathed? How dry is it? Are you over thrashing it creating too much MOG? | |
