Subject: RE: Corn Drought Tolerance Compared To Milo Question

perryton, tx
I’ve been growing some dryland corn every year since 2017, mainly for Johnsongrass control. Where I’ve had it side by side with milo the milo has beaten it by an average of about 20 bushels per acre regardless of whether it was a wet or dry year. To be fair a wet year ‘here’ doesn’t bring the amount of moisture a corn crop really needs.
