July 7 average low 30’s. I know they say to plant a long season for your area but I find the beans in middle to lower end of our range seem to do better. Need them to start rippening early enough to stay out of frost and the days get short mid to late September which makes getting enough sun to fill pods tough.
What’s the latest you’ve planted beans that it worked out?
