Northwest IOWA | About 10- 12 years ago a buddy of ours planted his drowned out holes on July 9 with a 1.9 Bean. Then he pulled into our field and did 9 or 10 acres for us too....We combined around them spots in Oct ... It was a late frost that year - In November we were busy starting Nh3vand getting cattle manure hauled - but I drove down the 4 miles to that farm and combined his and my pockets ...We both figured they yielded 42- 45 bu .
