Northwest Iowa | I'd say Angus is close. The corn will look a whole lot different in a week or even a few days. The hail adjuster is supposed to look at the leaves and determine what % was lost. If it is attached, it is Ok. If on the ground, then it is lost. My guess is that it was somewhere around 16 leaf at occurrence. Tassel and further development would pay a lot more from hail insurance, but the loss would be higher as well. | |
