Subject: Row spacing planted across slope- Any effect on water soil erosion?

Kettle Moraine, WI
Planting the same population across a slope with 7, 15, or 30 inch row spacing, will soil erosion from water/rain events be different?

I could see 30 inch row spacing having a more solid picket fence for each of the rows, but 29 inches of bare dirt to build up energy down the slope that would "run into" a solid stand if crop.

Inversely, a 7 inch row spacing would only have 6 inches of bare dirt for the water to gain force, but it would run into a less dense crop row. I imagine it like Price is Right Plinko Board game with more frequent, but porous disruption. The 30 inch row more like a picket fence.

In the end does it average out or is one better for less soil erosion ?
