beneficial nematodes (hb/sc) will get the grubs, They are most effective in sept/oct. They attack a large number of other pests like cutworms, corn rootworm, etc. and once infected in about 3 days about 100k will emerge. The SC attacks corn earworm, and if you have sweet corn, you can probably easily find the worms and hit them with a squirt bottle. then they fall to the ground, and in your soil. or you could probably collect them and throw them in your sprayer tank. They aren't super cheap (although the prices have fallen a lot) so you are really trying to inoculate.
