Stop by anytime you get over to I-35, we cant be too far away.

Every year is different and different results. The no till and cover crop fields are finally starting to look better, they don't look as good until the first of July then start looking better than the conventional fields. Have the soil quality benefits and in the end, yield seems to be very similar.

I really like using cattle to graze off the cover ahead of corn. Thinking it speeds up the C:N cycling. Also think adding some nitrogen with the planter or sidedressing is important for yield. i think that Y dropping is too late and getting it in the root zone is best if it doesn't rain. We use a coulter knife bar and it is our only tillage. Plenty of manure, spread evenly, is good too.
