nw Iowa | I am very familiar with Rock Valley. The owner of Town and Country is my brother-law. The Rock river is a major contributor to the Big Sioux River . The Rock River flows though Rock Valley.
The river is the boundary next to Town and Country. His buildings are approximately 1000 feet from the river bank but as you see the distance is irrelative.
Many churches are also filled with water, those that are not are being utilized as shelters for people whose house is destroyed. Worship services will not be held in most churches tomorrow.
