I think I have asked this before but not sure, what are of NC are you in? I went to Pink Hill this week from Coastal SC. I paid attention to a lot of corn in that area. It was all over the place from looking like a crop insurance claim, to some good looking corn. I am guessing your area is like mine hit and miss.
On a different not, I believe it was in Market talk where they had some graphs showing predicted rainfall. The South East was expected to be above normal for the next couple months. I know it doesn't help things now. My crops are burning up also. I am having to supplement hay to my cows now, due to lack of moisture.
