I almost didn't buy the wider wheel spaced sprayer that I have now because I was worried about the same thing: having the sprayer wheels not following the same track and the tractor wheels. The old sprayer we had had tandem axles so there was actually 4 wheels running over the same soybeans. And the tires on the sprayer were like gravity wagon tires. One single bigger tire on the newer sprayer running in a different track hurts the beans less. I was surprised too. I never thought that would be the case.
