| Cotton in the SE is all over the place. Some very early planted looks good but that isn’t many acres. Then, some early planted acres also got messed up with big rains and had to be replanted. Then, since being replanted, and many other acres just planted, it is bone dry and hot.
So, it’s a typical year.
As far as your acres, if I had a chance to get some beans in still, I would maybe think about doing some. Here we get enough heat units late to get by. I’m not sure if you do with no rain in sight. $.68 cotton won’t cut it on 750 lb cotton. | |
