WC MN | Looks like you have checked all the boxes on what you want to do. Are you going to mount openers direct to bar or do you have a row unit in mind? Unless really flat direct mount could be a challenge. We do similar, Gfx row cleaner with a single disc opener for fertilizer then another shallow disk to push any slot shut, spring only due to steep hills. I leave some trash in strip and do not run row cleaners down on planter, very few issues with strips blowing out. Has worked well strippiing through some awful mud then letting it dry enough to plant until this year, muddy strips got wetter, first time since started strips in 2007. | |
