Have you considered planting one of the new grass herbicide tolerant hybrids? I started experimenting with Alta’s iGrowth system in 2021 and have had varying results from a yield standpoint but I’ve been pretty satisfied with the Johnsongrass control. I hear good things about the Sorghum Partners Double Team hybrids but I haven’t planted any.
