I didn’t see the whole story until I looked at the overhead views of that area in normal times, and saw the actual dam is so far back from the tar road. Water usually undercuts the tar as it rushes over like that, washing it out pretty fast. I hope that is not the case here.
There is going to be so much damage from this in the region.
