I don't remember the exact labeling but if I remember right Roundup can be used as a harvest aid for milo. You would need to check on the exact timing of using it. I am sure you are aware of how sensitive milo is to glyphs ate so need to remember that if any milo that''s not mature is nearby. If used I also think there can be a lodging problem if the milo isn't harvested timely. Would need to check label carefully and if alright for your end use. Then a second shot after harvest if it puts back out .
I think what you raise for next year's crop can really make a difference. I would want a RR crop if possible so not milo next year. I would think cotton or soybeans so you could continue to spot spray through the time your crop is growing. Back before Roundup Ready and we were tasked with cleaning up a farm that had bad Johnson grass we used a lot of Select spot spraying it through the growing season.
