northeast ohio | It depends on the weather. Shelled 20 acres last year that was planted a week later, but that was into decent moisture so it germinated immediately. We are dry here with 1-2” storms this week 25 miles to north, south and even east. Did hit one small field with 5,000 gpa of dairy manure the day before planting. Will see if that makes a difference.
