| Yeah it will take more nitrogen. High calcium and high magnesium can be a tough problem to deal with. If you have high calcium I wouldn’t recommend gypsum if you already struggle with potassium. Now if you leach out the excess magnesium and that releases more potassium to get you above 2% then gypsum would be an option. I deal with the same situation as you and would like to do more gypsum if I knew I would have enough potassium in the end or would have a good way to manage it. Cheaper to go that route than leach the excess out with sulfur. | |
