When you say conventional are you working the ground after wheat harvest and then planting..? Or no tilling beans into the wheat stubble? Best combo I have found. Following right behind the combine is Paraquat and 2oz of valor. Smoke everything and holds it for thirty days. Plant beans behind sprayer. 21-30 days afterward post them with your choice of chem. Clean as a whistle. Don’t waste money on residual. However, we are on 15” rows so we canopy pretty quick and the weeds are done.
