I have seen it in this feild when we where still fall disk ripping and spring cultivator but not as bad as this year never gave it much thought before, I had a CCA. Look at some plants he said the nodal root development was delayed cause of compaction and with the excesive moisture this year those plants couldnt handle the stress as well as the other plants. 10 inches of rain in the last month another 4-6 coming, poorly drained soil, maybe it has something to do with soil type. When it drys out if it drys out i was going to take my compaction meter and a shovel to these spots and try to find the compaction
