I would be more worried about the beans as well. i was just adding that to help narrow down the choices. The bugs visit the sprayed flowers and get the chemical on them. The flowers close at night, and open in the morning. Spraying early in the morning before the flowers open and the spray is on the other side the petal the bugs will be on is more ideal, but ideal isn't necessarily an option.
